Our Mission Statement

BWE are an ever-evolving organisation, committed to the growth, improvement and
development of Working Equitation in Great Britain. We don’t believe in being static!
There is huge opportunity for our sport to become bigger, better and more widely
recognised and celebrated on a national and worldwide level.
As the national governing body we are working hard to promote the sport to all levels
and ages of riders, on all breeds of horse. Through a consistent approach, we aim
to provide more opportunities for riders to enjoy and excel in our sport, ensure a high
level of horse welfare within the sport through education and training, work with
other governing bodies in order to integrate Working Equitation in to the equestrian
community as a whole and do so in a way that ensures the future of our sport for
many years to come!
