We were very sad to hear that Cereja, ridden and owned by Tamsin and Claire Devonport had to be put to sleep after a long battle with Laminitis.
“Possum” and Tamsin were one of the first combinations to come on to the Development Squad in its first year in 2015 and during the following years. With much determination from both Tamsin, team trainer Paulo and a handful of us at the sidelines keeping faith, she represented Great Britain 3 times including last years Senior World Championships.
Tamsin and Possum took each other all the way from Novice to Advanced and although at times "athletically challenged" she finished her career as a super established schoolmistress of Working Equitation and an absolutely wonderful ambassador of our sport.
Always consistent, always dependable, whether it be in the competition ring or in complete darkness, dressed in fairy lights, Her absence will be felt greatly by those of us who knew her best.
Thank you Possum, for all the great times.
